Ben Franklin's Collaboration Method.

Innovation is constantly in some of the most successful companies today, is driven by collaborative groups. If formally organized or not, teams like this use of a variety of available tools to share knowledge of non-formal way.

Could call them "Communities of practice" or even "committees of innovation ' in your company, but its function is the meet regularly to discuss openly topics and relevant information for your business." The objective is to solve problems through communication and promote new ideas among the members.

Long before companies acknowledged and formalized any modern approach to innovation, a created American ancestor which is recognized as the first collaborative group. Benjamin Franklin organized a group called together in Philadelphia which consisted of selected people from diverse backgrounds and various occupations. Met regularly, usually in a tavern, having discussions and try to resolve political issues of the day. Franklin felt that collective intelligence of people with different perspectives would solve much more faster problems any solitary individual never could. Small and dynamic club discussed nothing philosophical questions and community problems, political issues and matters of business.

Alongside Franklin obviously do not have web 2.0 tools or email to facilitate the exchange of knowledge. Did his thing in an open forum which met weekly and listened to another talk about topics agreed upon mutually. The key to their productivity was strong organization and a sense of equity among its participants. They followed a formal order in the meetings in which the word everyone had to share reflections in a respectful environment

Imagine what could be done with a similar model using the idea management tools available at present.

You can easily deploy a simple, standardized process for the exchange of ideas and knowledge within your organization. The "topics of discussion" will become the challenges that you share externally. "Members " are your employees or coworkers, who will share their unique perspectives to help you generate ideas and solve problems.

Make social idea management your strategy.

A friend had recently published a tweet or a fragment of Starbucks and how it leverages social media for idea management and innovation. Today, many organizations are looking for systems or software to help them capture and harness ideas client in order to save costs, increase revenue and employee or simply to build relationships and loyalty. Ideas aim to participate in its customer base and potentially build on their suggested products, services, improvements in the process and general recommendations. With an idea management system can track her wants, needs, thoughts, and even complaints from employees and clients and use trends in order to understand the possible matches. The exchange of ideas can be made internally or externally and each organization must have a strategy for the use of ideas and which seeks to measure or take advantage of. A voice is a wonderful thing, respond to customers and employ community managers the sheep in the herd, balance and properly channel communications. Ideas in general appear, at first glance, like a fun way to introduce social media and open collaboration to the enterprise. I am willing to bet that there are many organizations that are having collaboration as intranets or applications such as SharePoint, but are not using their own community as they could and perhaps should.

Starbucks and  Dell they are all ideas takes advantage of one way or another. Salesforce.com service Cloud plays an important role in many organizations, as it seems to be a stellar solution for service to the online community, sharing and collaboration. Dell is using the Salesforce.com system to build their own idea, product and agile vision products. I've been lucky to see Idea vision the Dell sampled for my current employer and for the first round, it seems as if does it exactly what you meant to do. There is no denying the quality of the platform and technology of Salesforce. It not only allows for the integration and development of complex applications, but it looks damn good as well. Does mention it vision of the Idea of the Dell joins with his brother clarity PPM as well? Resources can surprise you with both 'so the cuff' suggestions as either thought or planned solutions. If not, what you're doing, introduce ideas to your organization, reward those who come with small and even stellar suggestions. Build relationships that ultimately affect your brand, and you repeat the client's satisfaction. Many of its customers and employees are loyal or dedicated and want to help flourish because everything falls down. If you're internal or external level, or rate ideas, comment on them, contribute to the ideas of other members and have fun with him! The end result is a win - win as the consumer gets to express their needs or wants that the Organization has an excellent channel of learning of his client which is qualitative and quantitative.
